Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Mirin or rice vinegar + 1 tsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Grated ginger
  • 1 Garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp Water

Method

  1. Simmer soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, honey, ginger, and garlic 5 minutes.
  2. Stir cornstarch into water. Whisk into the pan until glossy, 1 minute.
  3. Cool slightly. Brush on hot chicken or toss noodles.
