Scanner
Scan a packaged-food barcode. Get a homemade recipe — from the label.
Scan a packaged-food barcode. Recipe Solver looks up the product, reads the ingredient list when it can, and builds an estimated homemade reconstruction you can cook.
This is not a nutrition-score scanner
Food barcode apps usually grade a product or log calories. Recipe Solver uses the barcode to identify the exact package, then treats the ingredient list as the start of a reconstruction. If the database has no label, we ask you to photograph it. We do not invent a recipe from the front-of-pack name.
What you need
A phone camera, a packaged food with a barcode, and — when the print is readable — the ingredient panel. Catalog samples work offline. New scans need a connection.
After the scan
You get an estimated homemade version (closest match), plus optional cleaner and allergen-aware paths. Those are variations after the original functions are understood. See the reconstruction method and how to read a label.
Try a demonstration first: homemade ranch dressing or all sample Solves.
Scan a packaged food
Recipe Solver rebuilds from the package — not a generic recipe from the name.
